20 pct increase in travelers in 18H1: Macau airport

Macau’s international airport welcomed four million passengers in the first half of the year, representing an increase of 20 percent year-on-year, local media reports.

The number brought average daily passenger volume to 22,000 during the six-month period, flight movements also increased 12 percent.

According to the operator of the international airport, the increase was mainly due to more visitors from mainland China.
