The ACT government has given approval for multi-terminal table games, so gamblers can play baccarat, roulette and sic bo on individual screens, local media reports.
The previous rules only allowed for the Aquis-owned casino to host rapid roulette as a semi-automated game, with the rest played only as table games.
The number of terminals in the casino will be increased to 50 multi-terminal games, up from 22 for rapid roulette.
Earlier this year, the Canberra casino got the greenlight for up to 200 pokies, to the dismay of Canberra’s clubs and hotels.
The casino reopened its doors last week after a A$14 million (US$10.4 million) refurbishment aimed at international gamblers.
