Adelson back in court over Chinese meetings

Sheldon Adelson, chairman and chief executive Las Vegas Sands, is to testify next month in a retrial of a lawsuit by a former consultant who claims he did not received a promised $5 million for arranging meetings with senior Chinese officials when the company was seeking a gaming concession in Macau. An earlier trial ended with a jury awarding Richard Suen $58.6 million, but the Nevada Supreme Court overturned the verdict after finding errors with the trial process. The company claims Suen did not provide help.
