Asia Gaming Brief's "Life After POGOs" pop-up forum on 9th December was a stellar success, with over 400 participants attending the important discussion.
The event was attended by Philippine Gaming and Amusement Corp. chair Andrea Domingo, who agreed to a live 1 on 1 interview with Asia Gaming Brief managing editor Sharon Singleton to discuss the financial and operational aspects of "Liveshots" previously dubbed by media as "PIGOs" (Philippines Inland Gaming Operators), as well as discussing the future of POGOs in the country.
Other speakers at the forum included Danny Too, General Manager of Cherry Interactive, who discussed some of the alternative jurisdictions that online gaming operators are currently considering, as well as Mark Gilbert, who reflected upon chairman Domingo's interview to give the audience an idea of the operational implications of the new Liveshots licenses.
Finally, AGB also premiered its interview with Attorney Mel Georgie B. Racela, Executive Director of the Anti-Money-Laundering-Council to discuss how AML will be enforced under the new rules.
