AGE 2017 returns to the all new ICC Sydney

In 2017 the AGE returns to Darling Harbour and the new ICC Sydney, featuring over 19,000 square metres of exhibition space and 250 exhibitors.

This follows three years when AGE was held at the Glebe Island venue, when the new ICC was being built. While the smaller Glebe Island venue was a good temporary home it pales in comparison to the ICC.

One of the reasons is because the ICC includes convention facilities that are capable of hosting three separated concurrent events utilising the resources of Australia’s largest ballroom with a capacity for up to 3,500 guests, 2,400 square metres of multipurpose event space and a theatre that can seat 8,000 delegates.

While much of the official photography of the ICC Sydney features the striking Convention Centre, which forms the main entrance of the integrated Convention and Exhibition complex, the Exhibition Centre, is equally as inspiring in its own right.

In addition to the Exhibition Centre’s total capacity of 32,600 square metres over two separate levels, there are business suites, speaker preparation rooms and 70 meeting and seminar rooms, some with views over the Darling Harbour area, across to the City skyline.

Access to the Expo this year will be greatly improved with a Sydney Light Rail stop at the door, two bus routes (389 and 501) stopping at nearby Harris Street and a 10 minute walk from Central Railway Station. For motorists, there’s on-site parking for 826 cars including 20 electric car charge spaces, all of which have internal access to the Expo from the car park.

In addition to being the largest Gaming Expo in Australasia, because it’s located at Darling Harbour, it’s a gentle harbour side stroll from AGE 2017 to a host of restaurants, nightlife and accommodation. The unique wildlife and icons are not far either. World famous Taronga Zoo is a ferry ride across the magnificent harbour, past the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House.

Visitor registrations are open, and can be accessed at the AGE 2017 website.
