AGTech flags a profit of $2.8 million in 2023

Lottery and integrated technology and services company AGTech Holdings Limited flags a profit of more than HK$22 million ($2.8 million) for the year 2023.

The information was disclosed by a positive profit alert to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on Monday.
AGTech notes that Macau’s recovery and the consolidation of Macau Pass Holding's financial statements drove performance improvement last year.
It notes that the increase in revenue for the 2023 Second Interim is not less than HK$237 million ($30.3 million). This includes the increase in revenue from the company’s lottery hardware sales and lottery distribution business by not less than HK$60 million ($7.7 million) for the 2023 Second Interim compared to FY2022.
However, AGTech also indicates that the increase in revenue was partially offset by an increase in purchases of and changes in inventories.
