Hong Kong-listed AGTech Holdings has flagged a narrowed loss for the nine months ended Sept 30, 2021, as China continues to rebound from the Covid-19 pandemic.
The decrease in loss over the nine months is due to rebounding from the impact of Covid-19 in the second half of 2020 through to the nine months of 2021 so far.
AGTech said revenues from all of the group’s lottery hardware, lottery distribution, and games and entertainment businesses increased their revenues for the 2021 nine-month period, more than compensating for a drop in revenue caused by the cessation of sales of two virtual sport lottery games supplied by the company.
AGTech said that furthermore, the group has commenced supplying non-lottery hardware (including POS terminals) during 2021, which further broadened the source of revenue.
