Alliance Global Group Inc. (AGI) the listed vehicle of billionaire entrepreneur Andrew Tan, plans to complete the first phase of recently acquired Resorts World Bayshore, in PAGCOR's Entertainment City in Parañaque, the Philippines by 2018.
The $1.1 billion project, which is two years behind the original schedule, will be AGI’s second integrated casino and entertainment complex, and includes three luxury hotels totaling 800 rooms, shops and a theater.
Okura and Westin Hotels & Resorts are each to manage one hotel, and a third brand is still to be selected.
Travellers International Hotel Group, a joint venture between AGI and Genting Hong Kong Ltd will take over ownership of Resorts World Bayshore.
Last year Tan announced plans to invest $1.5 billion to triple to 5,000 AGI’s hotel rooms over the next five to seven years.
