Best Sunshine appoints former Sands exec to marketing post

Best Sunshine International, which is developing an integrated resort on Saipan in the Commonwealth of Northern Marianas Islands, has appointed Jacqueline Wu as senior vice president corporate marketing.
Wu recently arrived in Saipan and has 18 years in communications and marketing experience, having served in several multinational corporations, including eight years at Sands China.
“BSI strives to be a great Corporate Citizen and I look forward to delving deep into the community and assess, where an organization like BSI can make a lasting contribution”, she said in a release.
Meanwhile, no final site has been proposed for the company’s $7.1 billion integrated resort project on the island, Wu told local media.
Wu said the sequence of events will begin with finalizing a decision on the land, then the master plan, followed by a hiring plan.
Best Sunshine, a unit of Hong Kong-listed Imperial Pacific, beat rival bidder Marianas Stars Entertainment for a license to build the island’s first casino earlier this year.
