Bloomberry Resorts Q3 profit up seven-fold from Q2

Bloomberry Resorts, which runs the Solaire Resort & Casino in the Pagcor entertainment hub along Manila Bay, said its third-quarter profit jumped seven-fold from the previous quarter to 165 million pesos (US$3.8 million), reversing a loss of some 108.6 million pesos in the year-ago period.
Total revenues rose to 4.11 billion pesos, with gross gaming revenue hitting 4.87 billion pesos, up from 3.89 billion in the second quarter. Non-gaming revenue was 223.1 million pesos and interest income was 10.2 million pesos. The company said it expects Solaire’s performance to continue to be strong in the fourth quarter and next year. Bloomberry says it’s getting strong interest from junket operators and has signed up more of them this quarter.
