Casino closures only partial and temporary: Genting Highlands

Genting Bhd’s Resorts World Genting has clarified that only some sections of two out of its three casinos will be closed temporarily for renovation purposes.

Media reports recently claimed that the company would close its Genting Casino 1 (Circus Palace) and Genting Casino 2 (Hollywood) effective from February 28th, with SkyCasino allegedly to remain its only casino in operation. 

‘In our ongoing effort to improve our operational efficiency and enhance the gaming and entertainment experience for our guests, we continuously upgrade our facilities. This will involve temporarily closing certain sections of our casino to facilitate the improvements,’ Resorts World Genting stated in a disclaimer on its website.
‘Our gaming operations continue to operate as usual,’ the group noted.
The announcement by Genting did not clarify for how long the renovation will take place and when the casino sections will be reopened.
