Casino Pride calls Goa’s plan to ban locals from casinos “discriminatory”

Shrinivas Nayak, a director of Casino Pride, says Goa’s plans to ban local residents from its casinos from Feb. 28th is discriminatory, local media reported. In a letter to Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar, the casino executive warned the ban would cripple the local industry. It may also lead to a rise in illegal activities, including providing fake documents for entry into the casinos, he said.
