Casinos rake in 29.5 billion patacas in July


 

Casinos in Macau raked in a total of 29.5 billion patacas ($3.7 billion) in the month of July, according to official figures released today by the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau. This figure is an increase of 20 percent compared to that of the same month last year. Although the figure is up from that of the month of June, it is slightly down from that of May of 29.6 billion patacas. For the first seven months of the year, total gross gaming revenue of Macau casinos was 200.1 billion patacas, up from 173.3 billion patacas, or 15.9 percent, from a year ago.
