China casino investors attend CNMI governor inauguration

The inauguration of Northern Marianas Governor Eloy Songao Inos was attended by four Chinese investor groups intending to build over $10 billion in casino-hotel investments.
Best Sunshine International, a unit of Imperial Pacific, Alter City Group, Mega Stars Overseas Limited and Saipan Jinghua officials were present at Monday's inauguration ceremonies held at the parking lot of the CNMI Administration Building on Capital Hill, Saipan.
Best Sunshine CEO Mark Brown led the group. Alter City Chairman Leong Kin Lan, CEO Edvon Tse, and EVP Ken Lin were seen among the special guests.
Mega Stars Overseas Limited chairman Chairman Chen Chun Wai and Chief Marketing Officer Stonic Chu led the Tinian Dynasty contingent.
Newly formed Saipan Jinghua Investment Inc. which is planning to build a $4 billion integrated resort on Tinian was also represented by still unnamed officials who declined to be interviewed by Saipan media.
