China LotSynergy seals huge order with state lottery

A subsidiary of China LotSynergy has won the largest terminal order to date to supply China’s lottery industry in a deal that will see it provide 20,000 new terminals to Guangdong Welfare Lottery.

Guangzhou San Huan Yong Xin Technology Company Limited will sign a contract with Guangdong Welfare Lottery Administration Centre to provide maintenance services, along with the terminals, in return for a cut of the ticket sales.

“GZSH will sign the relevant contract with Guangdong Welfare Lottery Administration Centre. GZSH will provide Guangdong Welfare Lottery with 20,000 new lottery betting terminals, along with terminal maintenance, upgrading and other related services, in return for a fixed percentage of Guangdong Welfare Lottery’s total computer generated ticket game sales,” the company said in a filing.

“To date, this is the largest single terminal equipment order in China’s lottery industry.”

The company added that Guangdong province ranks top in terms of lottery sales, maintaining its position for seven consecutive years.

In 2014, Guangdong Welfare Lottery’s sales exceeded RMB 20 billion ($3.2 billion) mark to reach RMB 20.68 billion, “achieving yet another milestone since it passed the RMB 10 billion mark in 2010.”
