Melco Crown Entertainment announced that its flagship integrated resort, City of Dreams, has become the first hotel and integrated resort in Macau awarded the OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management Certification.
The certificate was awarded by the British Standards Institute (BSI Hong Kong).
City of Dreams was also the first in Macau to have received the HACCP food safety certification in 2011 and the ISO 14064 Greenhouse Gas Emissions Inventories and Verification in 2014., the company added.

It took colleagues from 16 departments seven months of hard work from documentation, trainings to certification audit,” said David MacKay, senior vice president of Asset Protection at Melco Crown Entertainment.
