City of Dreams opens retail extension

City of Dreams Macau has expanded its retail offerings with new facilities and stores, according to a social media post from the company last Friday.

Included in the new section is the “T Galleria by DFS’ first-ever shoe salon”, which spans over two floors including exclusive-to-Macau brands.

Over 100 new fashion and accessories, beauty and fragrance and watches and jewelry brands, including top luxury brands will also be available in the new section, according to the company.

The extensive expansion includes stores for high-end brands Aquazzura, Botega Veneta, Moncler, Rupert Sanderson, Tod’s, and Valentino.

In March, Melco chief Lawrence Ho said the new development was part of the firm’s plan to expand its non-gaming offerings - an important new dimension for Macau’s gaming operators.

Last month, the Macau Government Tourism Office (MGTO) estimated non-gaming revenue could reach MOP 112 billion by 2025.
