Crown's cameras turned against house

Police are investigating reports that a foreign high roller won $33 million in a VIP area of the Crown Melbourne Casino through cheating at eight hands of cards. An associate of the unnamed gambler reportedly gained remote access to the casino's surveillance cameras and then passed along information to the bettor. After the scheme's discovery, Crown kicked the high roller out of his villa at the Crown Towers and barred his return. The casino also fired a VIP services manager but believes it can recover much of the money involved.
