Good Morning. Macau firmly retook the throne in 2023, with gross gaming revenue totalling some $22.68 billion. The results were driven by an impressive December tally, only topped by October (due to Golden Week). The figures were bolstered by some 28 million tourists during the year, still shy of 2019 levels. Meanwhile, in the UAE, authorities put raffles and prize draws on hold, to establish a "well regulated gaming environment". And in Saipan, the region's casino commission has re-appointed an executive director as it attempts to negotiate with Imperial Pacific.
