Donaco announces two-month delay in casino opening
Donaco International said the soft opening of its Lao Cai casino resort, planned for March, has been delayed until May because of an administrative delay in the re-filing of the company’s investment certificate by the Lao Cai Provincial Government.
Donaco stressed construction of the project is still on track and the property will have about 300 rooms available at the opening, instead of the planned 200 in March. The whole resort is still scheduled for completion by July this year and there is no change to the $53 million construction budget.
