Donaco International promotes deputy CFO

Donaco International Ltd announced that the company’s deputy chief financial officer, Chong Kwong Yang, has been appointed to the senior position of chief financial officer.

The company, which recently completed its acquisition of the Star Vegas Resort and Club in Cambodia, said Chong played a key role in sealing the deal.

Current CFO Richard Na Chun Wee will remain with the company in his other current position as deputy CEO.

Chong, an Australian national, will be based in Bangkok and Poipet, Cambodia, at the premises of the casino.

“Mr Chong has worked extremely hard on the Star Vegas deal, and knows the business intimately. As the Star Vegas will generate the lion’s share of the Company’s revenues and profits in the near term, it make sense for our CFO to be located there,” said CEO Joey Lim.
