A blockchain focused casino and VIP solution provider, Dragon Inc, has established a partnership with South Korea casino Seven Luck to develop its VIP rooms with gaming oriented cryptocurrency.
The company made headlines in September last year after announcing plans for a floating casino in Macau, raising funds through an ICO. The company was also linked to a former triad boss "Broken Tooth," to which it denied.
Under the partnership, Dragon Inc introduces “Dragon global chips” to Seven Luck’s VIP gaming rooms - which is said to “increase speed, security, convenience while reducing fees for both the to Dragon operators and the high rollers.”
Seven Luck Casino is owned and operated by Grand Korea Leisure (GKL), which includes three branch locations in the heart of Seoul, including Seven Luck in Coex Intercontinental, Seven Luck in Millennium Hilton, Seven Luck in Busan Lotte Hotel.
Paul Moynan co-founder of Dragon said: “This is the ultimate game changer for both casinos and high rollers, using the cutting edge technology of Dragon blockchain platform we can enhance the entertainment industry, while supporting the increase of tourism and provide a path for many additional Blockchain innovations across South Korea. We look forward to the opening ceremony with Junket Agents and VIP players which is planned for April 2018”.
Dragon said it is planning to see strong and successful partnerships like this throughout 2018 initially in the ASEAN region, but later in Europe and the rest of the world.
Dragon is set to hold several promotional events throughout Indochina from the mid to end of March to promote these partnerships. The first of these will be held in Bangkok then Vietnam, Cambodia, Lao before expanding across the region to Japan and mainland China.
The company launched its casino blockchain solution after successfully raising more than US$6 million in Pre-Token Sale funding for their project in December 2017.
