Early Guam gaming tax revenues track expectations

Collections from Guam's new 4 percent gambling tax reached $123,068 through August 20, according to the island's Department of Revenue
 
and Taxation. The government estimates the tax will generate $1.3 million a year. The money is intended to pay for services and improvements at Guam Memorial Hospital.
