The Innovation Group and Global Gaming Expo (G2E) announced today six individuals to be honored as the 2017 class of Emerging Leaders of Gaming (ELG):

  • Amy Lawrence, senior director of regulatory affairs and associate general counsel, AGS

  • Mattias Stetz, chief operating officer, Rush Street Interactive

  • Murali Ganesan, vice president, sales - gaming, Scientific Games

  • Seth Young, director of online gaming, Foxwoods Resort Casino

  • Shannon Keel, general manager, Akwesasne Mohawk Casino

  • Tyler Bain, executive director relationship marketing, Las Vegas Sands Corp.

Honorees will be recognized during G2E at the Emerging Leaders of Gaming Networking Reception, open to all registered attendees, on Wednesday, October 4 from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. at The Opium Room in TAO at The Venetian Las Vegas.

"This year's class was chosen from one of the strongest groups of nominees we have seen since the program's inception," said Michael Soll, president of The Innovation Group and organizer of Emerging Leaders of Gaming.

"The 2017 class represents a broad cross section of our industry and we look forward to watching their careers grow and evolve."

Emerging Leaders of Gaming are identified through an open call for nominations on the G2E website. Nominations were reviewed by event organizers and ultimately voted on by the 2017 event co-chairs, Julia Boguslawski, chief marketing officer of AGS; Kathy George, CEO of FireKeepers Casino Hotel; and Seth Schorr, CEO of Fifth Street Gaming and Chairman of the Downtown Grand Hotel & Casino.

"We must thank our co-chairs, the American Gaming Association (AGA) and G2E for their tremendous support of the Emerging Leaders program," said Soll.

Emerging Leaders of Gaming was launched by The Innovation Group at G2E 2012 as a means of giving young professionals a domicile for collaboration and shared experience, and an extra advantage in the already competitive gaming industry. Since that time, the program has greatly evolved, broadening in reach and impact, to include year-round education and networking opportunities for young executives across the globe. "The program relies heavily on grassroots action by its participants to foster dialogue on industry trends, innovation and governance through the lens of a new generation of professionals," said Soll. "It's been our company's honor to foster this opportunity for the last six years, and we look forward to continuing its evolution with the guidance of our stakeholders."
