Federal Taxation Service (FTS)

The Federal Taxation Service (FTS) is a federal executive body responsible for overseeing compliance with the Russian Federation's legislation on taxes and dues; the proper computation of taxes and dues and their full and timely payment to the respective budget in cases provided for by the legislation of the Russian Federation; the proper computation of other mandatory payments and their full and timely transfer to the respective budget; the production and sale of ethanol, alcohol, and tobacco products; and compliance with the Russian Federation's legislation on foreign currency within the jurisdiction of tax agencies.
