Former Crown boss joins Victoria Racing

Former Crown Resorts chief executive Rowen Craigie has been appointed to the Racing Victoria board, overseeing the state’s racing industry, local media reports. 

Craigie is one of five new directors appointed by Labor Premier Dan Andrews’ racing minister Martin Pakula.

Bendigo Bank CEO Mike Hirst, who had been acting as Racing Victoria’s chairman, will continue on the board as deputy chairman, while former Toll Holdings managing director Brian Kruger has been appointed as the new chairman.
