Four international IR operators opening offices in Tomakomai

In addition to Clairvest and Hard Rock, both Rush Street Gaming and Mohegan are in the process of opening offices in Tomakomai city, Hokkaido, a report in the local newspaper, Tomakomai Minpo, has revealed.

Clairvest was the early mover, establishing its office back in January. The other three firms’ offices have not yet opened their doors.

The Hard Rock office is just about to begin its renovation work, and is expected to include a public relations section and two or three staff members to promote the company as well as to explain IRs in general.

Rush Street Gaming will reportedly open its office in December with one staff member.

Mohegan’s plan is less concrete at this point, but its office may also open as early as December.

The other two international operators known to be in the hunt for a partnership with Tomakomai, Caesars Entertainment and Foxwoods, have not indicated any imminent plan to open an office in the city.
