Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) has announced that the company will join the Non-Mandatory Central Provident Fund (CPF) scheme in July 2019.
GEG said the move is in support of the Macau SAR Government’s initiative to strengthen retirement protection for local residents.
GEG already has a well-received Pension Fund scheme in place for all eligible team members, and with the upcoming launch of the CPF scheme, local team members who have previously enrolled in the existing Pension Fund scheme will have the option to switch to join the CPF scheme or remain in the existing Pension Fund scheme.
Meanwhile, local team members who have not joined the existing Pension Fund scheme or local residents joining GEG after the effective date of the CPF scheme will be offered the option to enroll in the CPF scheme on a voluntary basis.
The company will also hold a number of CPF seminars for team members in 2018 to enhance understanding of the scheme.
GEG will continue to host seminars to help team members better understand the details of this scheme and its financial implication.
