Galaxy launches premium mass services

Galaxy Macau has launched a host of new premium mass services at its Cotai resort including three private gaming rooms.

The new features will also include 19 tables and 143 slot machines, TDM Macau reported. Despite a difficult year for Macau operators and falling revenues, the company is optimistic of the future.

"In any business there is ups and downs but we are very optimistic about the future prospect of the Macau industry" Raymond Yap, Galaxy’s director for International Premium and Mass Market Development, was quoted by TDM Macau as saying.

The company has also decided to feature smoking lounges on the floor, despite a possible blanket smoking ban being implemented next year that would see the removal of such lounges.

"We certainly hope that the government can consider that (…) the effects have been discussed widely in the public", Raymond Yap said.
