Genting Malaysia Bhd has announced the reopening of its Resorts World Kijal in Terengganu and Resorts World Langkawi in Kedah on Thursday, June 18.
However, Resorts World Genting and Resorts World Awana will remain closed until further notice, said the operator in a message on its website.
Genting Malaysia’s properties have been closed as part of Malaysia’s efforts to battle the coronavirus pandemic.
The country had reopened nearly all economic and social activities as of June 10 after a three-month lockdown, which will allow Malaysians to travel for domestic holidays, go to street markets and get their haircuts.
However, international borders will remain closed, as well as nightclubs and theme parks. Schools are set to reopen on June 24.
