Government gives casinos more time to renew licenses

The government is preparing to give casinos a four-month deadline for renewal of their license, extending an earlier deadline set for mid-November, local media reports. The extension comes after none of the 10 casinos operating in the country met the given timeframe to comply. The Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation (MoCTCA) will publish a notice in the Nepal Gazette next week.
