Greens call for end of team sponsorships by betting companies

 
The Greens party is calling for a ban on the sponsorship of sports teams by gambling companies, a ban on all broadcast gambling ads before 9pm, a ban on all provision of odds during sport and sports-related programs and a ban on gambling ads "integrated into broadcasts". The party may hold the balance of power if neither of Australia's major parties wins a majority in next month's election.
