GTEF ∙ Investment and Financing Conference kicks off at Galaxy’s Convention Centre

The 2nd GTEF ∙ Investment and Financing Conference (GTEF ∙ IFC), organized by the 10th Global Tourism Economy Forum ∙ Macao 2023 (GTEF), has officially started at the Galaxy International Convention Center.

The main forum of GTEF is set to commence on Thursday. The theme for GTEF 2023 is “Destination 2030: Unlocking the Power of Tourism for Business and Development.”
The GTEF-IFC opening ceremony was attended by the Secretary-General of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), Zurab Pololikashvili, and the Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of GTEF, Pansy Ho.
Pansy Ho is the Chairperson and Executive Director of MGM China Holdings. MGM China is one of the six Macau gaming concessionaires.
As the Chairman of the Global Tourism Economy Research Centre, Pansy Ho signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the World Tourism Organization this April, during the visit of Macau’s top official in Europe.
GTEF’s main forum will explore new ways of constructing a resilient, high-quality, and people-oriented environment for the tourism industry in the new normal through innovative and sustainable international cooperation, according to the group's release.
