In a statement made in Nevada, a Hindu statesman, Rajan Zed, has urged the maker of an electronic slot game featuring Lord Shiva to immediately repeal the game and apologize publicly. The game, which features the Hindu god Lord Shiva, is manufactured by Merkur Gaming, owned by Gauselmann AG. In Hinduism, Lord Shiva, along with Lord Brahma and Lord Vishnu, form the great triad of Hindu deities. Zed pointed out that usage of Hindu deities for commercial purposes was inappropriate as they were meant to be worshipped in temples or home shrines.
