HK wants to reopen China border both ways

Hong Kong chief executive Carrie Lam has reportedly asked Beijing for a path to eventually shed travel restrictions between Hong Kong and Mainland China, local media reports.
On Wednesday, Lam told lawmakers that she has been actively lobbying the central government to reopen the border.
It follows an announcement that Hong Kong would be allowing some residents from China and Macau to enter the city without undergoing quarantine, starting from September 15.
