Japan-based Okura Hotels and Resorts is to build a new luxury hotel as part of the Resorts World Bayshore integrated resort being developed by Travellers International Group, according to reports.
The hotel is scheduled to open in 2018.
The plans include 380 rooms in a 13-story building that will occupy 38,000 square meters (409,000 square feet). It will offer state-of-the-art amenities and authentic Japanese hospitality. Facilities will include Japanese and other dining facilities, four meeting/banquet rooms, a spa and rooftop pool, according to media reports.
The Resorts World Bayshore project is the second integrated resort in Manila for Travellers, a joint venture between Genting Hong Kong and Alliance Global.
