International Game Technology announced that Wynn Resorts has signed an agreement to install a comprehensive suite of IGT systems applications at Wynn Palace, Macau, and other resorts.
The deal will see systems be installed at Wynn Las Vegas and Wynn Everett in Massachusetts upon completion of construction.
The IGT server-based systems installation includes an upgrade to IGT Advantage 9.x system integrated with sbX application, including Floor Manager and a host of bonusing and play-enhancing applications.
"IGT systems are designed to optimize floor efficiency and drive player engagement, and Wynn Resorts can leverage our unique applications to provide guests with unparalleled gaming experiences and personalized service," said Renato Ascoli, IGT CEO North America Gaming & Interactive.
Maurice Wooden, president of Wynn Las Vegas, said, "IGT systems applications will help us deliver customized entertainment experiences and access to resort amenities that truly make our guests feel special.”
Wells Fargo said at this year’s G2E expo it came away more impressed with IGT’s lineup than “we had been in prior years,” analyst Cameron McKnight wrote in a note.
“The company’s offerings seem to be geared more towards revitalizing slot products, given the new titles and enhancements in 3-D technology. We also believe IGT is moving in the right direction diversifying from slots as well with the iLottery and sports betting products.”
