IGT’s lottery business reemerges as “a shining star”

Union Gaming analyst John DeCree declared in a note that “IGT's lottery business was once again a shining star in 4Q20.” He explained, “IGT's Global Lottery net revenue increased 11% y/y, building on 3% y/y growth in 3Q20. Globally, sales for instant ticket and draw games increased 8% in 4Q20 following nearly 11% growth in 3Q20. In North America, sales for instant and draw games were up 11% in the quarter, building on 15% growth in 3Q20.” DeCree believes that the strong performance of lottery will continue.
