India’s CAG investigating alleged lottery malpractice in Mizoram

The Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG) is investigating alleged lottery malpractices run by the Mizoram government, according to local media.

The investigation of the Institutional Finance and State Lottery (IFSL) is slated to be completed within two months, officials in the Principal Accountant General's office said.

 It is alleged that crores of rupees have been lost annually due to malpractices by government employees.
