Interblock names Tom Rafferty general counsel

Luxury gaming manufacturer Interblock has named Tom Rafferty the company's new global general counsel to be based at Interblock's North American headquarters in Las Vegas.

Rafferty most recently served as deputy general counsel of Corporate Assets at Scientific Games where he managed the team responsible for providing legal counsel in the areas of intellectual property, litigation, immigration, human resources and Scientific Games' interactive business. Previously, he served as vice president and chief IP counsel at Vantiv, a leading provider of payment processing strategies and advanced technology solutions for businesses and financial institutions.

Interblock CEO John Connelly said, "Interblock is moving swiftly and aggressively to expand and protect our portfolio of original game content and other intellectual property, while continuing to build one of the best teams in the gaming industry."
