Jeju Shinhwa to include Four Seasons resort

Landing International Development has inked an agreement to launch a luxury Four Seasons resort within Jeju Shinhwa World.

The Four Seasons Resort, which is scheduled to be opened in 2019, will include approximately 240 lavishly furnished guest rooms, suites and exclusive villas, with a variety of tailor-made restaurants and bars and will be equipped with state-of-the-art facilities for intimate weddings and prestigious corporate events, as well as a luxurious spa, designed in the style of a traditional Korean tea house.

Phase one of Jeju Shinhwa World, comprising two hotels, Shinhwa theme park, MICE facility and Somerset serviced resort condominium, has been opened/will open in phases in 2017.

Landing said it also intends to accelerate the completion of the waterpark, theme park hotel and dormitory and training facilities in 2018, as well as to build a new lobby and guest facilities within Somerset serviced resort condominium.

“With the launch of the Four Seasons Resort and the planned acceleration and revision on construction plans, the Group is confident that Jeju Shinhwa World will become an extraordinary new hot tourist destination for local and global travelers,” said Landing International chairman and executive director, Yang Zhihui.
