Jeju Shinhwa World officially opens Dec 8

Integrated resort developer Landing International says the official opening of Jeju Shinhwa World will be on December 8, 2017.

Landing said that Shinhwa Theme Park will be open to the public on September 30, 2017, offering 15 rides and attractions themed by TUBAn, while YG Town, the k-pop themed bar and cafe, is expected to launch in November.

The official opening of JSW will see its remaining facilities including Marriott Resort Jeju Shinhwa World and Landing Hotel, MICE centre, themed restaurants and food streets, retail mall and casino open to the public.

Landing made the announcement in its press release, which also noted an injection of a US$300 million additional investment to its subsidiary, Landing Jeju Development Co., Ltd, for the development of Jeju Shinhwa World.

Landing said the total amount invested for Jeju Shinhwa World is now US$1.5 billion, while the rest of the development is expected to complete at the end of 2019, on schedule.
