Jimei pushes target date for finalization of junket deal

An agreement that would allow junket investor Jimei International Entertainment Group to indirectly participate in the gaming promotion business in Macau has been delayed until the end of 2016.

According to a filing to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on Tuesday, as the negotiation of the terms of cooperation with the concessionaire are still in progress, the parties involved intend to enter into definitive VIE agreements only after such terms are agreed upon and finalized, said Jimei.

The junket investor also emphasized that there is no binding agreement in relation to the possible cooperation, and thus it may or not proceed.
