Junkets to set up in Northern China, eye Russian cash

Macau’s casino junket operators want to establish client networks in the north of mainland China to target casino openings in Russia’s Far East, Hoffman Ma Ho Man, deputy chairman of Success Universe Group Ltd, told Macau Business magazine. In northern China, in particular Beijing, nearly 200,000 people are millionaires and over 10,000 people have more than 100 million yuan, the report said.
