Koh Pous, Interstate moving ahead with $1 billion Snake Island resort

Koh Pous (Cambodia) Investment Group and U.S.-based Interstate Hotels and Resorts are moving ahead with plans to develop a $1 billion resort on Snake Island, off the coast of Sihanoukville, according to media reports. The parties are drawing up a blueprint for the long-delayed project, which is scheduled for completion in 2018. The project comprises two 4-star hotels, one 5-star hotel, one “6-star” hotel, a casino, bungalows, villas for private residents, and further infrastructure to serve the resort.
