Konami & IGT execs make it on Emerging Leaders list

Konami Gaming’s director of business development Danielle Rankin and IGT’s director of strategic accounts Dan Farnon are the latest two executives to be recognized in the “Emerging Leaders of Gaming 40 Under 40.”

The young leaders’ list is developed by Global Gaming Magazine and The Innovation Group.

In a press release from Konami, the company said that Rankin has been instrumental in bringing new systems technology to casino operators and players through Konami’s award-winning SYNKROS casino management system.

“Danielle Rankin has made exceptional contributions to the success of Konami, its customers, and the larger industry through her partnership commitment and innovative outlook,” said Tom Jingoli, executive vice president & chief commercial officer at Konami Gaming, Inc. “Her strong technical expertise and casino operations experience give her an incredible ability to work collaboratively with our SYNKROS customers to bring leading-edge innovation to the gaming floor.”

Rankin has been at Konami for more than seven years, rising through the ranks from senior business operations analyst to become its director of business development in 2017.

On the other hand, IGT said that Farnon has been credited with driving year-over-year growth by leading key relationships with IGT’s largest customers “Dan’s award is based on the exceptional strength of his achievements with IGT over the past eight years,” said Nick Khin, IGT Chief Commercial Officer. “We’re proud to join the industry in celebrating his outstanding ability to build relationships, foster partnerships, and provide exceptional value to our strategic customers, ensuring that IGT delivers outstanding player experiences.”

Both executives will be recognized at a reception on Wednesday, Oct. 16 in conjunction with the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) in Las Vegas, Nevada.
