Laotian casino district put under two-week Covid lockdown

Lao authorities have placed the northwestern Bokeo Province’s Golden Triangle Special Economic Zone, a casino entertainment district that caters mainly to Chinese tourists, under a two-week lockdown after a Chinese worker tested positive for the Covid-19 coronavirus.
