Less than 24 percent of exhibitor space left at AGE 2018

A high level of demand for exhibitor space at the Australasian Gaming Expo 2018 has already seen 76 percent of exhibitor space sold, seven months prior to the event opening on August 14.

To avoid disappointment, interested exhibitors will need to be quick. The Australasian Gaming Expo occupies a total of 19,000 sqm of exhibition space making it the largest Gaming Expo in the Southern Hemisphere.

Highlights for AGE 2018

The Australasian Gaming Expo’s permanent home is the International Convention Centre (ICC Sydney) which is conveniently located on the western edge of Sydney’s CBD. This year the Expo will again occupy over 19,000 sqm with the show previously being recognized by the independent research organisation Explori: “When compared to over 1,000 other trade shows globally, the Australasian Gaming Expo is in the top 15 percent for delivering high visitor and exhibitor satisfaction“, said Rory Govan, associate director of research.

In 2017, the Australasian Gaming Expo saw 52 new exhibitors for a total of 246 resulting in a 17 percent increase in exhibitor space. There was also a 19 percent increase in the number of visitors, who came from 26 countries with strong showings from the USA, UK, and more than 50 senior executives from Asia.

Innovations for 2018

The impressive new ICC Sydney allows the organizers to introduce new educational sessions to the event, in state of the art seminar rooms. The seminar program and educational sessions last year were well attended and for 2018 there will be an expanded emphasis on education and development.

Additionally a number of new event technologies will again feature in 2018, including digital show bags which allow visitors to transfer information about exhibitors to their mobile device.

The Australasian Gaming Expo is held from August 14-16, 2018.
