Long-time president of International Gaming Standards Association stepping down

The International Gaming Standards Association (IGSA) has announced the departure of its long-term president, Peter DeRaedt, effective on December 31st.

The IGSA notes that current Vice President Mark Pace will be assuming the role of President upon DeRaedt’s departure.
In a release announcing the change, the IGSA notes that ‘Peter's departure marks the end of an illustrious career with the Association in which he has been a guiding light and a pillar in harmonizing the diverse interests within the gaming industry.’
The group has also conferred upon DeRaedt the honorary title of President Emeritus for life as ‘a testament to his commitment and monumental impact on the industry’.
The outgoing president will remain in an advisory capacity to the IGSA for the next two years.
His successor, Mark Pace has served with IGSA for over 20 years, holding positions including Committee Chair, Treasurer, Vice Chairman of the Board and others.
IGSA Chairman Earle G. Hall praised DeRaedt’s legacy noting that “He leaves behind a robust and well-respected organization, poised for continued success and innovation”.
