Lottery sales jump 25.4 percent in Feb

Mainland China lottery sales reached RMB 28.2 billion (US$4.1 billion) in February, up 25.4 percent year-on-year, according to the latest data from the Ministry of Finance.

Welfare lottery sales increased by 23.9 percent to RM15.3 billion, while sports lottery sales went up 27.1 percent to RMB12.9 billion.

Lottery sales for the first two months of 2017 reached RMB 57.3 billion, up 4 percent year-on-year.
